Karpathy’s tips became an agent skill within ten hours
Nine hours and twenty minutes after Karpathy’s post above, a skill appeared that, its README says, answers hard questions with a one page HTML file: the model writes a short Markdown draft and a command line tool that ships with the skill does the layout and the diagrams.
Score 6 of 9: new 3 of 3, momentum 0 of 3, evidence 3 of 3. Momentum measured: 1,972 to 1,972 stars in 0.04 hours (0.0% a day), read 2026-10-07T14:36:33Z. Two minutes apart, too close to show movement; re-check due 9 to 10 October.
- Who started it
- github.com/QingYunA; announced on X the same day by @smk7z
- How we found it
- GitHub search first; then the X quote chain back to Karpathy
Why it matters The split is the reusable idea: the model writes the content, ordinary code does the drawing.
